Scanning Technology
There are endless possibilities with the use of intra-oral scanners and Cad/Cam technology. Almost all the restorations produced at White Smiles Dental Lab are currently being done using the Dentsply Sirona In-Lab system for the finished restoration. This technology has become more accurate and efficient which allows me to operate with a better work-flow and keep the quality at a high standard. It also allows for a much faster turn-around time when going completely model-less. This in turn will allow the dentist to offer the very best restorative and cosmetic streamlined process possible to their patients. We can offer chair-side training if needed to help show assistants proper scanning and design software technique, as well as staining and glazing if needed. This digital workflow can be very accurate and much faster because there are much fewer variables throughout the process! White Smiles Dental Lab accepts intra-oral impression STL scans from any system.
Lab Services
Traditional & Digital Workflow
Traditional and digital impressions are both accepted and processed through the lab. Both methods can be very accurate and sufficient. We value and take great consideration of both workflows and the quality of impression from the start. We can process digital impressions faster in most cases and 3D printed models can be made to check fit if needed.

Ivoclar Emax Material
Ivoclar Vivadent’s patented lithium disilicate material is truly a revolution for the dental industry. Never before has a material been able to combine high strength, high esthetics and ease of use into one product, until now.
IPS e.max is a lithium disilicate glass ceramic that has optimized translucency, durability and strength for full anatomical restorations. Due to the use of new technologies and optimized processing parameters, IPS e.max lithium disilicate has evolved beyond previously available lithium disilicate ceramics.
3D Pro Multilayer Zirconia Material
Zirconia material is a special dental restoration material. It requires less equipment, time and materials than other materials. Zirconia materials can meet the needs of many types of dental product solutions. 3D pro zir with full contour material has the natural gradient of color, translucency, and strength(1050 MPa) in a real sense. The full contour material 3D Pro Zir achieves another revolution of dental material.
Implants
There are many different options available when fabricating an implant abutment and crown. Options such as cement-retained vs. screw-retained or engaging vs. non-engaging internal platforms. We fabricate most with a CAD CAM anatomic custom abutment either in Titanium or a Ti-Base Zirconium hybrid. This allows us to have complete control over the emergence profile, margin height and margin design, as well as angulation and amount of retention. These are each individually designed to deliver an abutment and crown in perfect harmony with the soft-tissue architecture. Materials
White Smiles Dental Lab is open and willing to work with any requested material or vendor of your choice that of which we do not currently offer! The ability to restore almost any restoration with the use of all porcelain (lithium disilicate), Zirconia or other new hybrid materials offers us a great and exciting new option that can be both affordable, economical and convenient.
Lithium Disilicate or (E-max) has been proven in the market to be an all-around good choice in durability with 360-400 (Mpa) of flexural strength along with true, beautiful and natural aesthetics. Zirconia is a type of porcelain that can be used in almost any restoration because of its high flexural strength of 600-1200 (Mpa), yet it still has great workability with almost any type of preparation. Technology advancements continue to evolve and improve the esthetic aspects of zirconia options being made available.
